Job Description

As a Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst at BluWave, you will have the opportunity to work on large, ongoing data analytics projects that span all functional areas of our business, as well ad hoc projects supporting specific parts of our team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, curious, intelligent, and dependable problem solver who has experience in statistical methods and analysis and is able to work efficiently by themselves and in collaboration with other team members without letting important details slip through the cracks. 

 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Manage and continuously improve our internal database. 

  • Deploy strategies and processes to maintain the integrity of our data. 

  • Work with key business stakeholders by effectively pulling, analyzing, and reporting data to address business problems and opportunities. 

  • Mentor junior members of the team. 

  • Create simple and elegant dashboards that allow our team to easily comprehend key insights. 

  • Identify and address areas for process improvement and automation in our data flows. 

  • Take on other ad hoc responsibilities as needed in a fast growth start-up, maintaining flexibility and a can-do attitude needed as part of our collaborative team and shared mission. 


Qualifications

  • 4-year undergraduate degree with a proven track record of success. 

  • 4+ years professional work experience using data to solve business problems. 

  • Knowledge of relational databases and data properties; experience in Salesforce, SQL, and Tableau highly preferred. 

  • Experience performing statistical analyses and related usage of statistics software platforms for predictive modeling. 

  • We strongly prefer that you live in Nashville, but we are open to talking if you are interested in relocating here.
